Please Note the Following Restrictions
Old Guard Armory strictly adheres to shipping and sale restrictions to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. We do not sell ANY merchandise to the following locations:
- Chicago, Illinois
- Massachusetts
- Washington D.C.
- Puerto Rico
When purchasing firearms, please be aware of the following shipping guidelines:
- All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the FFL license, unless specifically requested to be shipped to the mailing address after a direct call to our team.
- FFL licenses will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match precisely to avoid delays or cancellations.
- It is the responsibility of the dealer to ensure that Old Guard Armory has an updated copy of the FFL license.
For shipping ammunition, third-party items (Drop Ship), or firearms, please note:
- No ammunition, third-party items (Drop Ship), or firearms will be shipped to a Post Office Box.
- Freight Forwarding is required for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.
KNIFE ORDERING RESTRICTIONS
Before purchasing any knife, please carefully read and ensure your compliance with the following restrictions:
Federal law prohibits the sale and shipment in interstate commerce of switchblades, out of front (OTF) knives, and other automatic opening knives, except in limited circumstances outlined below:
- Automatic Knives include knives that open with hand pressure applied to a button or other device in the handle, or by operation of inertia, gravity, or both.
- Limited Exceptions: Automatic Knives may only be sold to specific categories of individuals, including civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government, among others, in connection with their official duties.
Old Guard Armory will not sell any Automatic Knife without the above conditions being met.
STATE-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
For customers in specific states, please be aware of the following restrictions:
- Alabama: Knives are restricted to a 3-inch blade limit in Montgomery.
- Alaska: Freight Forwarding is Required; No Sales of Tannerite; No Sales of Flamethrowers.
- Arizona: No restrictions.
- Arkansas: No restrictions.
- California: Various restrictions apply statewide, including limitations on ammunition, firearms, and other items. Please review carefully.
- Colorado: Various restrictions apply statewide, including limitations on firearms and accessories. Please review carefully.
- Connecticut: Various restrictions apply statewide, including limitations on firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Please review carefully.
- Delaware: Various restrictions apply statewide, including limitations on firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Please review carefully.

Semi-auto rifle with a detachable magazine cannot have:
- Pistol grip, thumbhole stock, or other stock which allows an individual to grip the weapon directly below any portion of the action of the firearm
- Forward pistol grip
- Flash suppressor
- Grenade launcher or flare launcher
- More than 10 rounds
Semi-auto rifle with a fixed magazine cannot have:
- More than 10 rounds
Semi-auto pistols with a detachable magazine cannot have:
- Magazine located somewhere outside of the pistol grip
- A threaded barrel capable of accepting a flash suppressor, forward pistol grip, or silencer
- Shroud that encircles the barrel except for a slide
- Secondhand grip
- More than 10 rounds
Semi-auto pistol with a fixed magazine cannot have:
- More than 10 rounds
Semi-auto shotgun cannot have:
- Folding or telescoping stock
- Pistol grip, thumbhole stock, or stock that allows the individual to place the trigger hand under any portion of the action
- Shroud that encircles the barrel except for a slide
- Ability to accept a detachable magazine.
- Revolving cylinder
Any semi-auto firearm that is not a pistol, revolver, rifle, or shotgun cannot have:
- Pistol grip, thumbhole stock, or other stock that allows the individual to position the trigger hand under any portion of the action of the weapon
- Ability to accept a detachable magazine outside of the pistol grip
- A fixed magazine more than 10 rounds
- A flash suppressor or silencer, or a threaded barrel
- A shroud except a slide
- A secondhand grip
- An arm brace
- No sales of Automatic Knives
- No rifle or shotgun sales to any resident of Delaware that is under 21 years old.
- No variants of AR15 or AK47, rifle or pistol, or completed lowers are to be sold or shipped to Delaware.
- No semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that can accept a detachable magazine and has at least 1 of the following:
- A folding or telescoping stock.
- A pistol grip or a thumbhole stock.
- A forward pistol grip.
- A flash suppressor.
- A grenade launcher or flare launcher.
- A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches
- No semi-auto shotguns are to be sold to residents of Delaware with the following characteristics:
- Possesses a detachable magazine.
- Possesses both a pistol grip and folding or telescopic stock.
- Possesses a revolving cylinder.
- No semi-automatic pistol with a fixed magazine than can accept more than 17 rounds.
- No semi-automatic rifle with a fixed magazine than can accept more than 17 rounds.
- No magazines with a capacity over 17 rounds.
- No semi-automatic pistol that has a detachable magazine and has at least one of the following features:
- An ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip.
- A threaded barrel.
- A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel except a slide.
- A second hand grip.
